ABOUT US

Pastor Latarsha Crenshaw is the wife of Bishop J.C. Crenshaw, II, the Elect Lady of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Pensacola, FL and the Senior Executive Officer of Exodus Ministries International, Inc.  She is also the mother of seven children, Joshua, Jaaliyha, Naisa, Jaymier, Jamal, Jamesia, James III. She possesses a strong hope and desire to see ministry go forth, grow, and manifest according to that which God has promised.

While working with Exodus Ministries International under the leadership of her husband, she has found a passion for those who want to know Christ.  After much prayer and her appointment to Senior Executive Officer of her husband’s ministry, she was led to move forward with her vision, Praise of Deliverance Ministries, Inc. In 2011, this acquaintance pursues her dream to cultivate strong relationship with Battered Women and Neglected youngsters. Her thought for such individuals is “It’s never too late for God, no matter what Satan says or tries to do”.

Elder Crenshaw is native of Leesburg, Florida born on January 8, 1983. In her early years, she moved to Pensacola, Florida, where she was raised by her grandmother Ms. Annie Bell Brazile. She is the only child of Sister Annie C. Brazile and Deacon Eugene C. Myles. Early on, she was influenced to attend church by her father and grandmother. As a young child, Elder Crenshaw was abused and raped by family members. At the age of 16, the doctor told her she had ovarian cancer and she would never have children. She began to pray and sought God for healing. In the midst of her healing, she went all out for sin by stealing, lying, and fighting which caused her to be in and out of jail. At the age of 17, she ran away from home, found her own place where she was doing well until she meet the man who betrayed her for a season. She was abused emotionally and psychologically. He then left her when she was seven months pregnant. She lost every thing she had. In the year 2002, she had to return back to her grandmother’s house with her child. After another five year relationship, she was again betrayed by wining and dining only to find out he was an abuser both emotionally and physically. It was at that time where she remembers her father saying, “No matter what, stay in church, and if you fall go back to the Father and ask him to help you up.” In 2003, she was invited to attend All Saints Holiness Church, where she gave her life to Christ and served as an usher and sometimes was part of the choir.

As she ran from the voice of God and her true calling, in May 2004, Elder Crenshaw received the gift of the Holy Ghost while her spiritual mother Evangelist Glena Hall prayed for and with her at noon daily. Elder Crenshaw began to walk in her calling with the help of the Lord. After acknowledging her call in July 2006, then sister Crenshaw was made a minister of the All Saints Holiness Church. It was when she was working in the church ministering and helping young believers that her husband, Bishop J. C. Crenshaw, II found her! Her husband lost his brother in a car wreck that positioned him in the place to possess her promise. Bishop Crenshaw moved back to Pensacola with his mother and family. They began to grow close and on February 8, 2007, they became one as husband and wife. She left All Saints Holiness Church to join her husband where he pastors at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She was ordained as an Elder and Senior Executive Officer of the church fellowship, Exodus Ministries International, under the leadership of Bishop J.C. Crenshaw, II.

Elder Crenshaw started helping young teens by talking to them helping them not to make the same mistakes she made.she is also the author of "Enough Is Enough I've Been Through It All". Her passion is ministering to young teens that have been raped and abused. In 2010, God began to give her visions of the things she had endured and where God was going to take her! This was the birth of Praise of Deliverance Ministries. Inc. Its purpose is to help young teens and young adults. Now her heart's desire is to teach and share with all, “No matter what Satan has said or done to you, it’s never too late to come to God and let him heal your wounds”!
